Grace That Won't Give Up
Have you ever tried to run from God’s plan for your life? Jonah did, but there’s one thing he didn’t know: God will chase you down. He loves you too much to give up on you.
The story of Jonah is a story of grace that is so persistent it always triumphs. The truth is that you can run, but you can’t hide. God’s love will find you, even in the most unlikely places for a child of God to be.
In this series of teachings, you will be encouraged to know that no matter how far you may have gone or how hard you’ve tried to run from God, His relentless love will not be satisfied until you rest in His life and His purposes for you.
If you have tried to run from God, or know somebody who has, Grace That Won’t Give Up is a series of teachings that our Father may use to restore the rebellious and bring home the spiritual runaway.
Session topics include:
Session 1: The Slippery Slope
It often seems so easy to fall into patterns of inconsistency in our spiritual walk. In this session, you will learn how it happens and how our Father lovingly responds to our spiritual lapses.
Session 2: Victory In the Vomit
When the great fish vomited Jonah up onto dry land, he had learned the lesson that sometimes our greatest lessons are learned in the most disgusting places of life.
Session 3: A Second Chance For Wayward Sons
This teaching will restore your hope that, no matter how low you may have fallen, your Father will raise you up and miraculously use your life. You haven’t gone so far that you are beyond the reach of His loving grace.
Session 4: Pouting Christians
Sometimes Christians can act like big spiritual babies, but even then our Father’s patient love seeks to nurture us back to wholeness.
If you have lamented the spiritual inconsistencies you’ve seen in your own life or if you know somebody who is running from God, Grace That Won’t Give Up is a teaching that can encourage them by pointing them toward a loving Father who pursues them no matter how they may behave.
